I'm John Miller. I've spent more than 25 years in business technology, most of it inside manufacturing and distribution companies. I've run networks and Microsoft systems across multiple locations, built custom software and SQL Server databases that whole companies relied on, and consulted for small businesses on their networks and security.
Most recently I spent thirteen years as IT and purchasing manager at a Greenfield distributor, where I built their Microsoft 365 and Azure setup, created the purchasing department, and served as ISO coordinator.
That work taught me what small organizations actually need: technology that supports the people doing the work, explained in plain language, without paying for more than you use. I started JMProDev to bring that experience to businesses and nonprofits in my own community.
